Soldados del Señor's Fellipe Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Medardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 13th minute, Fellipe Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. San Lorenzo de Mar del's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Fellipe Severo scored to the left of an out of position Leonides Medardo, making the score, 2-0. Edelmiro Bertin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Olando in the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Silviano got free with Leonides Medardo in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute of the match, Alberto Lehen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leonides Medardo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Olando in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Bertin saved C.A. Soldados del Señor from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Olando in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Bertin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Natalio Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute of the match C.A. Soldados del Señor got a corner. San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fellipe Severo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalie and right to Alberto Lehen. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. San Lorenzo de Mar del's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Domingo Olando managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo de Mar del's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Olando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Bertin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48thth minute of the game Domingo Olando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Soldados del Señor's Edelmiro Bertin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fellipe Severo was the one to do the kick off. Leonides Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Silviano in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Natalio Silviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, C.A. Soldados del Señor's Edelmiro Bertin got control of the ball when Domingo Olando tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Severo in the 59th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalkeeper Leonides Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, C.A. Soldados del Señor's Edelmiro Bertin got control of the ball when Domingo Olando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damaso Iago charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
