The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C.A. Soldados del Señor's Edelmiro Bertin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Soldados del Señor from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Chiappe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. San Martín's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fellipe Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tomáš Pollák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fellipe Severo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomáš Pollák. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fellipe Severo ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Cordeal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fellipe Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Pollák having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Uriel Ubarna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Martín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Soldados del Señor the free kick. The supporters of C.A. Soldados del Señor booed when San Martín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, C.A. Soldados del Señor's Leo Cordeal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomáš Pollák narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40thth minute of the game Leonides Rumaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Soldados del Señor's Edelmiro Bertin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fellipe Severo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victor Ongile hit a great ball. Tomáš Pollák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Severo in the 58th minute of play. Edelmiro Bertin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonides Rumaldo's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. When Hernan Cordaro fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Martín's protests and gave Hernan Cordaro a yellow card for diving instead. Hernan Cordaro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, San Martín's goalkeeper Tomáš Pollák had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Cordeal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Fellipe Severo took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Tomáš Pollák to make any attempt to save it. San Martín's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fellipe Severo 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Carlos Izquierdoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, San Martín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Rumaldo to maneuver through the defense. Tomáš Pollák didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fellipe Severo went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. San Martín's Tomáš Pollák proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save San Martín from getting a goal against them. C.A. Soldados del Señor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
