In the 2nd minute, Federación's Federico Ioritz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Isidoro Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Soin, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Ioritz came free, but Isidoro Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eulalio Rik fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Miami's protests and gave Eulalio Rik a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Inter Miami got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Rik. After 9 played minutes Inter Miami got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Crescencio. 11 minutes into the game, Serafin Soin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Isidoro Ongile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafin Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Ongile having to interfere. Isidoro Ongile made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Serafin Soin sent off a good shot on target. If Serafin Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Evangelista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidoro Ongile came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Evangelista slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 26th minute. Isidoro Ongile was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Evangelista showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 36th minute, Marcos Evangelista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Clemente Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Inter Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Bernabel to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Inter Miami fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Isidoro Ongile went to the wrong direction when Federico Ioritz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Isidoro Ongile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Quentin in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafin Soin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Inter Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Bikendi in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Serafin Soin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Ongile was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Gaspar Azibar's late challenge caught a Federación's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Azibar helped the player get up and apologised. 68 minutes into the match, Geronimo Bikendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Ongile. Inter Miami's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Bikendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Marco Frances charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Frances the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Federación booed when Inter Miami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Quentin in the 77th minute of play forced Inter Miami's goalkeeper Isidoro Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Ioritz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Isidoro Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Federación. If Urbano Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute of the match Federico Ioritz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidoro Ongile skillfully saved the ball. Federación's Urbano Quentin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Inter Miami defense, Urbano Quentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Ongile. The Inter Miami fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Ongile should have stopped the shot. If Geronimo Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Federación players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
