The referee showed Damaso Gonza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Inter Miami booed when Roosevelt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Gonza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Ederono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Frances in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Vladimiro Poz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roosevelt and the Inter Miami players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Vladimiro Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Ederono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Frances in the 8th minute of play. When Gaspar Azibar fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter Miami's protests and gave Gaspar Azibar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Roosevelt booed when Inter Miami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Atilano Umbruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Roosevelt's goalkeeper Casimiro Ederono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Frances in the 35th minute of play forced Roosevelt's goalkeeper Casimiro Ederono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Ederono came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Miami's Marco Frances. But to his dismay, Marco Frances quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Inter Miami fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Inter Miami's Marco Frances looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Roosevelt defense, Marco Frances kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casimiro Ederono. The Roosevelt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casimiro Ederono should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Guerau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Alejo Mikolas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roosevelt's Casimiro Ederono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Frances in the 61st minute of play. Damaso Gonza hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Roosevelt's goalkeeper Casimiro Ederono had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Mikolas. Pedro Guerau hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami's Cosme Sendoa got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Atilano Umbruso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Inter Miami's Marco Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Ederono made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Casimiro Ederono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Frances's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Inter Miami's Marco Frances got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimiro Ederono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Frances, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the match was over Inter Miami could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Roosevelt throughout the match.
