Amador Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Benicio Izquierdo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Americo Frichoso. Americo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Izquierdo in the 12th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Iglesia's Benicio Izquierdo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Americo Frichoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in COLT 45's zone, Ubaldo Kelemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Frichoso came out of the goal and Ubaldo Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Izquierdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iglesia's Ubaldo Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Izquierdo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Frichoso saved COLT 45 from getting behind. After 28 minutes, Uriel Piarres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COLT 45 and the Iglesia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Iglesia booed when COLT 45 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Izquierdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Frichoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benicio Izquierdo ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Iglesia's Benicio Izquierdo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Americo Frichoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremias Crispo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Ubaldo Kelemen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COLT 45's Americo Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Izquierdo in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Frichoso saved COLT 45 from getting behind. Filomeno Geleberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Gar in the 37th minute. Americo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Kelemen in the 39th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Kelemen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Americo Frichoso was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Iglesia's Filomeno Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Taurino in the 57th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Ubaldo Kelemen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COLT 45's Americo Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Kelemen in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Frichoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ubaldo Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iglesia's Ubaldo Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Fulgencio Eli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Americo Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iglesia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
