The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Taurino was the one to do the kick off. Horacio Beremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Aquiles Ponce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pereyra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COLT 45 the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Aquiles Ponce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Onbera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Gar in the 54th minute of play. Americo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Hernandez in the 56th minute of the match. Jeremias Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Onbera having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Donato Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. COLT 45's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Taurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruperto Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruperto Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Donato Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. During the 82nd minute of the match Ruperto Montes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ruperto Montes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pereyra fans cheered their team off the field, for while COLT 45 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
