Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 50) Mateo FC's Angel Txerran started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Niceto Machado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pablo Damario. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Angel Txerran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mateo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Txerran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Cebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Txerran in the 10th minute of play forced Desamparados FC's goalkeeper Fabian Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Txerran in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Cebo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Angel Txerran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Cebo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 17th minute Angel Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Angel Txerran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Cebo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Pablo Damario was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Feliberto Noe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 23 minute of play. When Mateo FC's Angel Txerran in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Desamparados FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fabian Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Txerran in the 34th minute of the match. When Mateo FC's Angel Txerran in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Desamparados FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Asier got free with Pablo Damario in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 42 minutes of play, Desamparados FC's Niceto Machado made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Damario was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Pacifico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Paulino Haitz in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mateo FC's Gustavo Olando. Fabian Cebo had great luck who in the 53rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Angel Txerran from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Silvano Firmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Txerran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Cebo came out and tried to block the shot, but Angel Txerran slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 62nd minute. Pablo Damario came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Desamparados FC's Feliberto Noe. But to his dismay, Feliberto Noe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. With a little luck, Desamparados FC's Fabian Cebo got control of the ball when Silvano Firmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute Angel Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 82 minutes on the clock, Gustavo Olando commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Desamparados FC. Bartolo Orkatz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pablo Damario. 5-2. Fabian Cebo made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Angel Txerran sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, Desamparados FC could leave the field as winners, despite Mateo FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
