The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alvaro Valentine the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mateo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alvaro Valentine had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 37 minutes into the game, one of Mateo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Apolo Peter struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Pablo Damario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Luminosos. Mateo FC's Pablo Damario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Mateo FC from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Mateo FC's goalkeeper Pablo Damario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Calixto. Pablo Damario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Calixto in the 62nd minute of play forced Mateo FC's goalkeeper Pablo Damario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mateo FC booed when Los Luminosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Luminosos's Rene Emesto got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Peter in the 68th minute of play forced Mateo FC's goalkeeper Pablo Damario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Txerran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Los Luminosos's Angel Lon got control of the ball when Angel Txerran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pablo Damario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Padro in the 74th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Los Luminosos's Apolo Peter made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Damario was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Mateo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Calixto came free, but Pablo Damario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Padro took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Damario. Pablo Damario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Apolo Peter took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Damario. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Luminosos had played much better football throughout.
