In the 40thth minute of the game Maximo Marino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mateo FC's Pablo Damario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bernardo Remicio came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the OSOPIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Remicio couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Txerran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mateo FC's zone, Maximo Marino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Damario came out of the goal and Maximo Marino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, Mateo FC's Gabriel Milev made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Pierres was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to OSOPIO getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Baldomero Harriet hit a great ball. OSOPIO's Denis Eleder was substituted for Bernardo Remicio. After a rather tough play, OSOPIO's Baldomero Harriet got a free kick in the 79th minute. OSOPIO made a substitution. Israel Ritchie replaced Maximo Marino. In the 87th minute, OSOPIO's Rafael Firmin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Israel Ritchie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pablo Damario. That made the score 1-7 in the 90 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Israel Ritchie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Damario was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched OSOPIO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
