MALUGANI F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Gaskon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Gotzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Gaskon in the 4th minute. The supporters of Emita FC booed when MALUGANI F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Gorka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, MALUGANI F.C.'s Christian Vermudo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eugenio Gotzon. Eugenio Gotzon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, MALUGANI F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Quilino came free, but Ruperto Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emita FC's Eugenio Gotzon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Emita FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Gaskon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eugenio Gotzon. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Dante Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Vermudo in the 32nd minute of play. Severo Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Eugenio Gotzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MALUGANI F.C.. Ruperto Urtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Duardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Emita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Artal to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Kelemen took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Gotzon. Eugenio Gotzon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Ruperto Urtun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Duardo in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Gaskon in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Gotzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clodoveo Paez made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MALUGANI F.C.'s Fermin Kelemen. When Filiberto Artal fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emita FC's protests and gave Filiberto Artal a yellow card for diving instead. After 74th play minutes Christian Vermudo shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Eugenio Gotzon and just under the crossbar into goal. Severo Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Maximiliano Urtats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Urtun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Artal in the 85th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MALUGANI F.C. had played much better football throughout.
