The Ferro General Pico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Ihintza should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ferro General Pico booed when Emita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Aaron Opilano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Gotzon skillfully saved the ball. Dante Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Epifanio Leoncio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emita FC's Eugenio Gotzon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Teodosio Astigar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferro General Pico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emita FC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Teodosio Astigar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Jonatan Gregory got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, Ferro General Pico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Donostia to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Erasmo Duardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Duardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Epifanio Leoncio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Emita FC's Eugenio Gotzon. Eugenio Gotzon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Duardo in the 32nd minute of play forced Ferro General Pico's goalkeeper Amancio Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Ferro General Pico's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Duardo came free, but Amancio Ihintza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Leoncio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Gotzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ferro General Pico's Amancio Ihintza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ferro General Pico from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Duardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Duardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Ihintza having to make a save. Eugenio Gotzon was a little too slow when Epifanio Leoncio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 58th minute, Ricardo Donostia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Ihintza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Duardo in the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Epifanio Leoncio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Gotzon was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Epifanio Leoncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Eugenio Gotzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Leoncio in the 77th minute of play forced Emita FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Gotzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferro General Pico's Epifanio Leoncio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eugenio Gotzon. That made the score 1-4 after 78 minutes of play. Eugenio Gotzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Leoncio in the 83rd minute of play. Dante Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Epifanio Leoncio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Gotzon was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Filiberto Artal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The Emita FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ferro General Pico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
