If Gerardo Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Gerardo Iratzeder got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Odilon got free with Eugenio Gotzon in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 minutes, Cesar Odilon made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Emita FC's Eugenio Gotzon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rigoberto Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ovidio Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Erasmo Duardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Emita FC and the Perritos y Gatitos Unidos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Erasmo Duardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Gotzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Odilon in the 45th minute of the match. If Gerardo Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Gotzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Odilon in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Gotzon saved Emita FC from getting behind. After having played for 67 minutes, Gerardo Iratzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Iratzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Gerardo Iratzeder made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Gotzon. Emita FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Emita FC's Filiberto Artal got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Filiberto Artal off the ground. In the 76th minute Gerardo Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Gotzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Gerardo Iratzeder made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Gotzon was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, Gerardo Iratzeder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Gotzon was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Abelardo Eguen charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Abelardo Eguen hit a great ball. Rigoberto Quilino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Cesar Odilon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Rigoberto Quilino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Quilino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos had played much better football throughout.
