If Teofilo Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ferro General Pico's Amancio Ihintza got control of the ball when Gerardo Iratzeder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferro General Pico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Teofilo Lopes scored to the left of an out of position Amancio Ihintza, making the score, 1-0. When Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Teofilo Lopes in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ferro General Pico's goalie prevented a goal. Teofilo Lopes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Amancio Ihintza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Alejandro Kismi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amancio Ihintza. Ferro General Pico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Kismi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Alejandro Kismi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ferro General Pico's Amancio Ihintza. Amancio Ihintza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute of the match, Teofilo Lopes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amancio Ihintza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edgardo Primeiro took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amancio Ihintza. Amancio Ihintza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Amancio Ihintza was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Edgardo Primeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgardo Primeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Maximiliano Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Lopes to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Perritos y Gatitos Unidos were awarded a corner. Abelardo Eguen went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Perritos y Gatitos Unidos booed when Ferro General Pico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Primeiro in the 57th minute of play. Amancio Ihintza came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Edgardo Primeiro. But to his dismay, Edgardo Primeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 63 played minutes Perritos y Gatitos Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Maju. Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Teofilo Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosio Astigar lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ferro General Pico! Abelardo Eguen placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Abelardo Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes of play, Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Teofilo Lopes made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Ihintza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amancio Ihintza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Lopes's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Gregorio Baldovino charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gregorio Baldovino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ferro General Pico's Gregorio Baldovino got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Eguen during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Perritos y Gatitos Unidos's Abelardo Eguen got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Ovidio Chus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Urritz in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Perritos y Gatitos Unidos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
