Eleuterio Rami helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Eleuterio Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes of play, Diablos Rojos FC's Guido Pagomari made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Honrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Satordi in the 22nd minute of play forced VERΛ's goalkeeper Ricardo Honrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Honrio came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Diablos Rojos FC's Alfonso Satordi. But to his dismay, Alfonso Satordi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a little luck, VERΛ's Ricardo Honrio got control of the ball when Alfonso Satordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd play minute Alfonso Satordi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Honrio. 4-0. The supporters of Diablos Rojos FC booed when VERΛ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Ricart didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Tadeusz Zdanowicz in the 37th minute really tested Ricardo Honrio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 38 played minutes VERΛ got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Garikoitz. 40 minutes into the match, Alfonso Satordi notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of VERΛ's Ricardo Honrio. Ricardo Honrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Diablos Rojos FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ronnie McCrimmor hit a great ball. Marcelino Francesco spun around in front of the goal 45 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Diablos Rojos FC's goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Satordi to strike the kick off in the second half. VERΛ's Ricardo Honrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Pagomari in the 62nd minute of play. Ricardo Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie McCrimmor in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Diablos Rojos FC fully deserved thier win.
