A collision led to Longchamps club getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Aurelio Urdaspal hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Longchamps club's Eriberto Maiorga got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Elpidio Orixe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Longhi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aquiles Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Aquiles Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Martxelin in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Ernesto Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Gaston Leoncio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquiles Mel, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Orixe in the 23rd minute of play forced Longchamps club's goalkeeper Sergio Longhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Longchamps club's Eriberto Maiorga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aquiles Mel. Aquiles Mel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Aquiles Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Maiorga in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Maiorga got free with Aquiles Mel in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquiles Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Leoncio in the 40th minute of the match.

After some careless play in the Olímpico FC defense, Eriberto Maiorga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Mel. The Olímpico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Mel should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Olímpico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Admon came free, but Aquiles Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Maiorga in the 65th minute of play. Aquiles Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gaston Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eriberto Maiorga in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Mel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Eriberto Maiorga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Mel was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Aquiles Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Maiorga in the 74th minute of the match. Eustaquio Indar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Olímpico FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Eustaquio Indar hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Oscar Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Longchamps club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Intxixu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Maiorga in the 87th minute of play forced Olímpico FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Clemente Admon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Mel was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Olímpico FC's Aquiles Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Admon in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Longchamps club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
