Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Alonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cleto Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Alonso in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Arias saved Ranquiles FC from getting behind. Placido Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ezequiel Alonso sped through Ranquiles FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cleto Arias. Ranquiles FC's Cleto Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Leguizamón in the 26th minute of play. Ezequiel Alonso scored 0-5 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Arias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Ciriaco Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ranquiles FC defense, Denis Franco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleto Arias. The Ranquiles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Arias should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Ezequiel Alonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ezequiel Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA GRAN WILLY FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Alonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaap van Zijp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Otoniel made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ezequiel Alonso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cleto Arias. That made the score 0-8 in the 53 minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Alonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Cleto Arias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. In the 70th minute, Ezequiel Alonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ezequiel Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ranquiles FC's Candido Viviano got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ezequiel Alonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Alonso's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA GRAN WILLY FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Candido Viviano was slow to take the kick. During this time Ranquiles FC's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Ranquiles FC's zone, Ezequiel Alonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Arias came out of the goal and Ezequiel Alonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
