The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andino Sport Club's Yin Qi Xuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Perrando in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Mauro Laspada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yin Qi Xuan made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Raul Perrando sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Andino Sport Club getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Omar Bertin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Râmniceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Filomeno Obano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andino Sport Club the free kick. Omar Bertin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilyan Uzunov, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Abelardo Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andino Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Bertin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute Dilyan Uzunov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Bertin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yin Qi Xuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yin Qi Xuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Ardiles in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Andrei Râmniceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Dilyan Uzunov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andino Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Dilyan Uzunov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
