The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Celestino Chepe made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Beliran. Millonarioneuquino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marciano Beliran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Chepe went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Marciano Beliran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Blanco's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Edelmiro Nabar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rambitos FC's Erasmo Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Nabar in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Celestino Chepe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Beliran. Millonarioneuquino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Chepe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, Rambitos FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Tabb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Nabar. Pastor Urtsin charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pastor Urtsin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Millonarioneuquino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Nabar got free with Erasmo Tabb in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celestino Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Beliran having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Aurelio Santos in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Millonarioneuquino's Bernardino Tancredo. Pablo Paez's late challenge caught a Rambitos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Paez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rambitos FC booed when Millonarioneuquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Artemio Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Beliran having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Nabar in the 65th minute of play forced Rambitos FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rambitos FC booed when Millonarioneuquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Belasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Candido Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Millonarioneuquino's Pablo Paez got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 92 minutes into the match, Artemio Blanco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marciano Beliran, 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Rambitos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Millonarioneuquino.
