Zacarias Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Arce in the 32nd minute of play forced Tiemblen Zurdos's goalkeeper Emil Sidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tiemblen Zurdos booed when Victor F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Nahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, one of Victor F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Victor F.C.. Zacarias Chus had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Everardo Ledesma's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Victor F.C.'s Nestor Nahia got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Barros Schelotto in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Sidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute Freddy Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Tiemblen Zurdos got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Torres. Guillermo Barros Schelotto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Emil Sidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Barros Schelotto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Sidor was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
