The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Victor F.C.'s zone, Victorio Firman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Chus came out of the goal and Victorio Firman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Colon in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Chus saved Victor F.C. from getting behind. After 26th play minutes Jose Aimar shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Ruben Pasqual and just under the crossbar into goal. Ruben Pasqual stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván De la Peña's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ruben Pasqual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván De la Peña, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes Lezcanos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Flavio Artaldo who took care of the corner kick. Victor F.C.'s Iván De la Peña got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Aimar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ruben Pasqual firmly grabbed it by the left post. Prudencio Inocente's late challenge caught a Victor F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Inocente helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lezcanos FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Prudencio Inocente hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iván De la Peña was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Victor F.C. booed when Lezcanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iván De la Peña succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Ambrosio Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes Victor F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Nahia. 73 minutes into the match, Lezcanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iván De la Peña came free, but Ruben Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
