Melchor Oihan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Maximiliano Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melchor Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aztore Sagaseta in the 74th minute of the match. Melchor Oihan made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Flavio Artaldo sent off a good shot on target. Jose Aimar took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melchor Oihan. Melchor Oihan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. After a defensive mix-up in Santamarina's zone, Jose Aimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Oihan came out of the goal and Jose Aimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melchor Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván De la Peña in the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Santamarina's goalkeeper Melchor Oihan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Aimar. Jose Aimar took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melchor Oihan. Melchor Oihan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. With a little luck, Santamarina's Melchor Oihan got control of the ball when Jose Aimar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93rd play minutes Iván De la Peña shot 0-14, a short shot which went by Melchor Oihan and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle sounded Victor F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santamarina.
