Victor Ovando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Justo Jeraldo made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Domingo Wagenblast made a precise shot to the right of Justo Jeraldo. Il Catenaccio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Domingo Wagenblast fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Il Catenaccio's Justo Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Gamus in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Gentza in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Celipe saved Rincon de Milberg FC from getting behind. After 35 minutes, Ceferino Baldovino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Il Catenaccio and the Rincon de Milberg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Siro Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rincon de Milberg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Gamus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Gamus to strike the kick off in the second half.
