In the 42nd minute of the match, Armando Taurino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alejandro Jerano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 44 minutes Kalessin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ke Ying Cheng who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Ekans's Arnaldo Basualdo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Kalessin's Lautaro Suárez got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lautaro Suárez to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekans's goalkeeper Freddy Peter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
