When Anacleto Eladio came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Esperanza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Eladio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Cebrian in the 20th minute of play forced Esperanza AFC's goalkeeper Filiberto Dodorol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Jerzy Mitus notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Esperanza AFC's Filiberto Dodorol. Filiberto Dodorol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filiberto Dodorol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Cebrian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The shot was stopped by Filiberto Dodorol but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Mitus was the one to do the kick off. Esperanza AFC's Filiberto Dodorol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Cebrian in the 51st minute of play. The corner ended in Nicanor Transito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esperanza AFC's Filiberto Dodorol did a great save. Filiberto Dodorol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Mitus in the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Jerzy Mitus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. With a little luck, lapollarecord's Luciano Omero got control of the ball when Anacleto Eladio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ciriaco Cebrian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Dodorol was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. lapollarecord's Aureliano Innocenzio was substituted for Adolfo Porfirio. lapollarecord were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
