In the 16th minute of the match, Ladislao Evangelista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elpidio Ekialde saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joel Jakobe hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Saturnino Estevon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Lamberto came free, but Francisco Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paso FC's Elpidio Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Evangelista in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Tadeo Mel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Ekialde was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30th minute, Saturnino Estevon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Evangelista in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Estevon in the 38th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Francisco Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paso FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raimundo Bizi in the 40th minute. Raimundo Bizi made a great header on Paso FC's corner, it was just that Independiente's Francisco Bieito managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee ignored Paso FC's protests and gave Artemio Lamberto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Artemio Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Evangelista in the 62nd minute of play. Paso FC's attentive Robustiano Cordearo managed to snatch the ball when Cirilo Charro made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Lamberto came free, but Francisco Bieito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Sugar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
