Zeledon Victoro hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Aquilino Tercero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaias Garcia was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Lekubegi during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis Beltrán's Casimiro Lekubegi got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Casimiro Lekubegi off the ground. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquilino Tercero made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Tercero in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaias Garcia saved C. S. y D. Luis Beltrán from getting behind. Angelino Gergori's late challenge caught a C. S. y D. Luis Beltrán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Gergori helped the player get up and apologised. If Benedicto Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Asur during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C. S. y D. Luis Beltrán's Juan Asur got a free kick in the 69th minute. Guido Ostargi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, C. S. y D. Luis Beltrán's Benedicto Canor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Vedillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Canor got free with Humberto Vedillo in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Benedicto Canor came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the C. S. y D. Luis Beltrán fans jumped to their feet. A collision led to Changuito FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Angelino Gergori hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Guido Ostargi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Asur, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Changuito FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C. S. y D. Luis Beltrán were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
