They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Adrio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isaias Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Hart in the 52nd minute of play. Isaias Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Glenn Hart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Garcia having to interfere. With his leg Isaias Garcia managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Xerez's Raul Adrio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xerez's Tomás Loren got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Adrio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Isaias Garcia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juan Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Xerez got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Markel. Desiderio Birjaio hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Isaias Garcia came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Xerez's Tomás Loren. But to his dismay, Tomás Loren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 88th minute, Benedicto Canor made a precise shot to the right of Cleto Veronica. Xerez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After 91 played minutes C. S. y D. Luis Beltrán got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Birjaio. When the match was over Xerez could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C. S. y D. Luis Beltrán throughout the match.
