Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Estevez in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Erruki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Eufrasio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaudencio Atarrabi. CASTORES FUTBOL TEAM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Alvaro Estevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zelaya AFC's Arnaldo Erruki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Alvaro Estevez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Arnaldo Erruki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benigno Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Estevez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Erruki was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Gaudencio Atarrabi was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Benigno Victoro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 35th minute, Amadeo Cordeal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Faustino Barto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half CASTORES FUTBOL TEAM were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Estevez made a kick off. Alvaro Estevez hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. When Rolando Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the CASTORES FUTBOL TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Abaurre couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CASTORES FUTBOL TEAM getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Erubiel Ixidor hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Benigno Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Estevez in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Erruki saved Zelaya AFC from getting behind. In the 62nd match minute, Zelaya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Ixidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Arnaldo Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Estevez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Erruki made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruperto Beturian during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zelaya AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ruperto Beturian hit a great ball. Gaudencio Atarrabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Victoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Lázaro Muno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Atarrabi having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CASTORES FUTBOL TEAM walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
