Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pasxalis Harames to make the kick off. Amadeo Maura came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cabezón Ruggeri United's Valter Sverrisson. But to his dismay, Valter Sverrisson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Victorino Urbasa came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Miami Mobsters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Urbasa couldn't finish the play. Gavino Firme hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Miami Mobsters were furious when Gilberto Lehen was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game.
