Anselmo Elivareo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Bazil's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Sportivo Italiano's Anselmo Elivareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Bazil in the 12th minute of play. Anselmo Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Ihazintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Narciso Gaitano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Geronimo Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Cayetano Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Elivareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Ihazintu took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Elivareo. Anselmo Elivareo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Cayetano Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Elivareo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cayetano Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41stth minute of the game Cayetano Ihazintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Italiano's Anselmo Elivareo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bixente Soudan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, megavalen's Bixente Soudan got control of the ball when Tomás Rami tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sportivo Italiano were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after megavalen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jesus Valente took the corner. 47 minutes into the game, Esteban Urtun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Italiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave megavalen the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tomás Rami made the kick off in the second half. Sportivo Italiano's Anselmo Elivareo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Italiano from getting a goal against them. In the 60th match minute, Sportivo Italiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Urtun to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, megavalen's Artemio Muc got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by megavalen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jesus Valente was slow to take the kick. During this time Sportivo Italiano's players had a chance to rest. Sportivo Italiano's Jesus Valente was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bixente Soudan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bixente Soudan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Rami's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Tomás Rami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Bixente Soudan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Guaberto Dalmau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Italiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.
