Radowit Lewandowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornel Mara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Epifanio Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Chabier in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornel Mara saved Huerta Fc. from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Huerta Fc.'s goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Chabier came free, but Cornel Mara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Lohitzun during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Huerta Fc. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Roman Lohitzun hit a great ball. After 26 minutes, Mauro Marcones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huerta Fc. and the General Paz Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Huerta Fc.'s Mauro Marcones got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute of the match, Nik Napast got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vladimiro Estevon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 31 minutes, Radowit Lewandowski made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Huerta Fc.'s Cornel Mara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of General Paz Juniors booed when Huerta Fc. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Lehen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radowit Lewandowski took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Mara. Cornel Mara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Michal Tvardovskiy hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Roman Lohitzun was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 48th minute, Roman Lohitzun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radowit Lewandowski made a kick off. Mauro Marcones struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Vladimiro Estevon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huerta Fc.. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Radowit Lewandowski took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Cornel Mara to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Chabier in the 66th minute of play forced Huerta Fc.'s goalkeeper Cornel Mara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Huerta Fc. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Marcones to maneuver through the defense. Cornel Mara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Chabier's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, General Paz Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when German Cano came free, but Vladimiro Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Epifanio Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huerta Fc.'s Moises Galo was substituted for Gaudencio Enetz. Huerta Fc.'s Cornel Mara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Huerta Fc. from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute German Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. General Paz Juniors's Vladimiro Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Marcones in the 90th minute of play. When Epifanio Chabier came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the General Paz Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Chabier couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. General Paz Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
