In the 6th minute Tomás Bide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Claudiescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes, Rogelio Viator mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rinconada FC and the Igarzábal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rinconada FC's Rogelio Viator got a free kick in the 9th minute. Sandu Popoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Santo Lon made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Pascual Petri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartolo Brion's late challenge caught a Igarzábal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Brion helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Rinconada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Brion to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Pascual Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Claudiescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Sandu Popoiu in the 31st minute really tested Santo Lon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Adam Claudiescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Claudiescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Petri in the 35th minute of play. If Uriel Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dalmacio Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Uriel Eder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Claudiescu having to make a save. The referee ignored Igarzábal's protests and gave Simon Fertus a yellow card for diving instead. Rinconada FC's Santo Lon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Osorio in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Silbestre in the 62nd minute of play forced Rinconada FC's goalkeeper Santo Lon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Adam Claudiescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Brion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Claudiescu having to make a save. Santo Lon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Silbestre in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Efrain Silbestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Lon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Adam Claudiescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Eder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Rinconada FC defense, Efrain Silbestre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Lon. The Rinconada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Lon should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Igarzábal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rinconada FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
