If Armando Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Aurinegro club booed when Albiceleste F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Estefan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Romildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erubiel Chumo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Armando Asier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aurinegro club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tobias Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Salvino in the 56th minute of play. Timoteo Nofre hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match.
