When Pascual Petri came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Rinconada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Petri couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Rinconada FC booed when El Ciclon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santo Lon came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by El Ciclon FC's Denis Iban. But to his dismay, Denis Iban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Santo Lon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Jatsu charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victoriano Jatsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victoriano Jatsu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of El Ciclon FC booed when Rinconada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santo Lon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Garoa in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ernesto Birila hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Rinconada FC's Santo Lon got control of the ball when Basilio Garoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Denis Iban recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santo Lon. Denis Iban showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. When Simon Rito fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Ciclon FC's protests and gave Simon Rito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, El Ciclon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Rito to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Denis Iban managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Ciclon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Iban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Lon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Denis Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Bide in the 75th minute of play forced El Ciclon FC's goalkeeper Serafino Palban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Garoa took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Lon. Santo Lon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Victoriano Jatsu was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 84th minute, Victoriano Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Petri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Tomás Bide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinconada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Bide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rinconada FC's Bartolo Brion got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
