After some careless play in the El Ciclon FC defense, Valentin Menendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Palban. The El Ciclon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Palban should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Hugo Aimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Ciclon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Fu the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Ciclon FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Serafino Palban had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Valentin Menendo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Valentin Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Fu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Ciclon FC's Serafino Palban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Olando in the 23rd minute of play. Serafino Palban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Olando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes AC Fu got a freekick which was hit by Victor Jaen. After a rather tough play, El Ciclon FC's Hugo Aimar got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, AC Fu's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Iban came free, but Paulo Renato Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, AC Fu's Valentin Menendo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Palban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, AC Fu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Jaen to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in AC Fu's zone, Denis Iban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Renato Coutinho came out of the goal and Denis Iban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Menendo to make the kick off. The supporters of AC Fu booed when El Ciclon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Jatsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, AC Fu's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Coutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Iban. Serafino Palban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Olando in the 72nd minute of the match. Isaac Tano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Palban read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Ciclon FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albino Pitin was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Fu's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Albino Pitin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serafino Palban quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Faustino Olando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Serafino Palban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Olando in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Palban saved El Ciclon FC from getting behind. Faustino Olando took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Palban. Serafino Palban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 94thth minute of the game Valentin Menendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Ciclon FC's Serafino Palban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AC Fu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
