But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Chinto couldn't finish the play. Severiano Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Diego Enekoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Severiano Gotzon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Enekoitz. Eusebia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Gotzon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Severiano Gotzon struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Diego Enekoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durham AFC. If Amador Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Chinto took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Enekoitz. Diego Enekoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Teofil Iwanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Gabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Eusebia FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roberto Chinto 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. Eusebia FC's Diego Enekoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Eusebia FC from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Arnoldo Tirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofil Iwanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Maidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Teofil Iwanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Severiano Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, one of Durham AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Durham AFC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Gabon made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Eusebia FC's Fernando Gabon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Amador Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Diego Enekoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Leo Millan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th match minute, Durham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Amador Ritchie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lucas Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eusebia FC's protests and gave Lucas Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. Lucas Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Roberto Chinto made a precise shot to the right of Diego Enekoitz. Eusebia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Diego Enekoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute.
