Pablo Cordarell lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Artizar was the one to do the kick off. Rigoberto Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Rosendo Viviano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Etxahun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The Quijano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Etxahun should have stopped the shot. Racing's Adan Estavan got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quijano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Estavan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 88th minute, Chatruc Terrazas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes in the game Isaac Jago did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rosendo Viviano. Rigoberto Etxahun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Guillem, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute Augusto Guillem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Racing were the better team. Racing's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
