Durham AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Gaur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Ponciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Teofil Iwanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Nereo Ostargi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Durham AFC's Teofil Iwanowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With 14 minutes on the clock, Gavino Gaur commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Durham AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RocaFC:s goal. Fabricio Ponciano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Severiano Gotzon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. The referee showed Adolfo Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, RocaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Arias to maneuver through the defense. Teofil Iwanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Ostargi in the 40th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nereo Ostargi made a kick off. The supporters of RocaFC booed when Durham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Elija didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Durham AFC's Severiano Gotzon made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabricio Ponciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabricio Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Gotzon in the 61st minute of the match. When Tue Dansborg fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RocaFC's protests and gave Tue Dansborg a yellow card for diving instead. Tue Dansborg hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Fabricio Ponciano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Ritchie's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Durham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Ostargi came free, but Teofil Iwanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Amador Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Ponciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes RocaFC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Ostargi. When Severiano Gotzon came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Durham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Gotzon couldn't finish the play. After 80 played minutes RocaFC got a freekick which was hit by Tue Dansborg. Nereo Ostargi in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teofil Iwanowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Nereo Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Durham AFC's Amador Ritchie got a free kick in the 90th minute. Durham AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
