David Gorri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Orlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiburcio Tello made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Mauro Noe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mauro Noe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Emmanuel hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Javier Honesto came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Quijano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Honesto couldn't finish the play.
