Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Astigar started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Lucero got free with Rigoberto Etxahun in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirilo Nuno took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Etxahun. Rigoberto Etxahun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, Quijano FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Etxahun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Lucero. After 17 minutes of play, The Falkland Islands's Herminio Lucero made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Etxahun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rigoberto Etxahun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Lucero in the 20th minute. Jeremias Herensuge took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Etxahun. Rigoberto Etxahun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With a little luck, Quijano FC's Rigoberto Etxahun got control of the ball when Herminio Lucero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rigoberto Etxahun came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by The Falkland Islands's Jeremias Herensuge. But to his dismay, Jeremias Herensuge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 38th play minute Herminio Lucero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rigoberto Etxahun. 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Noe to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. Herminio Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Herminio Lucero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Etxahun. Quijano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Lucero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 69th minute Jacinto Astigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Etxahun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Nuno in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Jacinto Astigar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Falkland Islands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 85th minute, Jacinto Astigar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Etxahun was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Jacinto Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Etxahun having to interfere. The Falkland Islands walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
