Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eskil Bivall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 18th match minute, The Falkland Islands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Ourente in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eskil Bivall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abel Ourente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eskil Bivall having to make a save. After a rather tough play, BOLIVAR AFC's Juan Palben got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, The Falkland Islands's Herminio Lucero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eskil Bivall. Eskil Bivall yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The supporters of The Falkland Islands booed when BOLIVAR AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cirilo Nuno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eskil Bivall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albano Euloxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eskil Bivall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of The Falkland Islands booed when BOLIVAR AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Timo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the The Falkland Islands players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
