Rigoberto Etxahun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genaro Medina in the 18th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Fernandes came free, but Rigoberto Etxahun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Etxahun having to interfere. Mauro Noe kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Vladimiro Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Quijano FC's Rigoberto Etxahun got control of the ball when Hermengildo Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rigoberto Etxahun made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Genaro Medina sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Rigoberto Etxahun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th match minute, XEI NEI XE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Beat to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Mauro Noe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quijano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XEI NEI XE FC the free kick. Mauro Noe kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermengildo Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Fernandes in the 56th minute of play forced Quijano FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Noe to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Israel Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Gorri hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Etxahun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Fernandes in the 65th minute of play. XEI NEI XE FC's Oscar Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Noe in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, XEI NEI XE FC's goalkeeper Oscar Gombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Noe. The supporters of XEI NEI XE FC booed when Quijano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Harkaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Ugaitz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Quijano FC's zone, Hermengildo Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Etxahun came out of the goal and Hermengildo Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rigoberto Etxahun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rigoberto Etxahun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Genaro Medina took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Etxahun. Rigoberto Etxahun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Rigoberto Etxahun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Medina went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute, Jaime Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Quijano FC defense, Hermengildo Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Etxahun. The Quijano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Etxahun should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. XEI NEI XE FC fully deserved thier win.
