Genaro Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Fabricio Ponciano made a huge save. Oscar Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Lixandro in the 13th minute of the match. Oscar Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Ostargi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29thth minute of the game Nereo Ostargi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XEI NEI XE FC's Oscar Gombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabricio Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Fernandes in the 30th minute of the match. XEI NEI XE FC's Oscar Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Ostargi in the 31st minute of play. Fabricio Ponciano made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Genaro Medina sent off a good shot on target. After 35 minutes of play, RocaFC's Ulises Santana made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Gombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nereo Ostargi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Nereo Ostargi sped through XEI NEI XE FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oscar Gombal. The XEI NEI XE FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RocaFC were winning 0-2.

If Nereo Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Turi during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes XEI NEI XE FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Turi. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RocaFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
