Bill Coekx hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Patagonia FC defense, Donato Estavan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Obano. The Patagonia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Obano should have stopped the shot. Eliseo Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Coekx in the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Patagonia FC were awarded a corner. Amancio Erramu went to the cornerflag to take it. Amancio Erramu made a great header on Patagonia FC's corner, it was just that Simogasta FC's Filip Kaczanka managed to reach the ball for a save. Felice Cavanna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Kaczanka having to interfere. Eliseo Obano came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Simogasta FC's Reynaldo Enekoitz. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Enekoitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Patagonia FC's Felice Cavanna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Bill Coekx succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Simogasta FC's Donato Estavan got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Patagonia FC booed when Simogasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clifford Hands didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Patagonia FC's Damian Mercurio got a free kick in the 41st minute. Eliseo Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Enekoitz in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Simogasta FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 70th minute Reynaldo Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Obano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Patagonia FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Obano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simogasta FC's Filip Kaczanka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Federigo in the 74th minute of play. Clifford Hands hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Godofredo Katia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. Simogasta FC made a substitution. Ismael Behe replaced Reynaldo Enekoitz. The corner ended in Amancio Erramu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Simogasta FC's Filip Kaczanka did a great save. 92 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Chap dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliseo Obano, 1-6. After a rather tough play, Simogasta FC's Ermegildo Chap got a free kick in the 95th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Amancio Erramu notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Simogasta FC's Filip Kaczanka. Filip Kaczanka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Patagonia FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Simogasta FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Simogasta FC.
