Osvaldo Felo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Eloy Sotero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Blasi got free with Osvaldo Felo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Blasi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. If Leon Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Mede having to interfere. Arnaldo Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Poz in the 30th minute of play. Honorato Estavan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, TEAM EDU's goalkeeper Osvaldo Felo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Blasi. After 42 minutes, Aristides Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TEAM EDU and the Zentenario players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zentenario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Osoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Poz made a kick off. Raimundo Quinito hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. TEAM EDU's Eleuterio Dominix was substituted for Leon Laurgain. The supporters of Zentenario booed when TEAM EDU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Quinito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Felo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Blasi went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to TEAM EDU getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Higinio Poz hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in TEAM EDU fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Zentenario a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Norberto Blasi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TEAM EDU's Osvaldo Felo. 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Norberto Blasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zentenario's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Blasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Felo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
