In the 6thth minute of the game Kléberson Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TEAM EDU's Osvaldo Felo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Sotero got free with Placido Telo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Kléberson Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Removalist CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléberson Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Felo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Higinio Poz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Leon Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot. TEAM EDU's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Laurgain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Telo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes Removalist CF got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Aresti. After 18 minutes, Aquiles Osasun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TEAM EDU and the Removalist CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eloy Sotero hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Aristides Vidal's late challenge caught a Removalist CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to TEAM EDU getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Aristides Vidal hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, TEAM EDU's Raimundo Quinito got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Erubiel Aresti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Removalist CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Aresti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th match minute, Removalist CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Felo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Aristides Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Kléberson Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Felo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 0-1 became the score in the 41st minute when Sixto Vergaray elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Osvaldo Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Vergaray in the 55th minute of play. Gints Drullis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Higinio Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Telo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Camerino in the 63rd minute of play forced TEAM EDU's goalkeeper Osvaldo Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eleuterio Dominix came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the TEAM EDU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Dominix couldn't finish the play. In the 67th match minute, Removalist CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gints Drullis to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, TEAM EDU's Higinio Poz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Placido Telo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Placido Telo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Poz in the 75th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, TEAM EDU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Poz to maneuver through the defense. TEAM EDU's Osvaldo Felo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save TEAM EDU from getting a goal against them. Sixto Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Felo having to interfere.
