With a little luck, Tudo e Festa's Isidro Tirso got control of the ball when Wilfredo Salvatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Fertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Fertus in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Chicago's zone, Severino Ixidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Tomi came out of the goal and Severino Ixidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Fertus in the 29th minute of play. Wilfredo Salvatore scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidro Tirso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agustin Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Ixidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute of the match, Mariano Fertus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidro Tirso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Isidro Tirso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Fertus in the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Chicago's zone, Sebastian Maurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Tomi came out of the goal and Sebastian Maurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's Mariano Fertus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidro Tirso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidro Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Martxel in the 78th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Tudo e Festa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nueva Chicago:s goal. Isidro Tirso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Fertus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Isidro Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Fertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Tirso having to interfere. Nueva Chicago's Mariano Fertus got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nueva Chicago's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
