AID's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Igor Emesto in the 8th minute. After taking down the ball on AID's corner Igor Emesto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and András Murai quite easily take care of the ball. In the 9th minute Prudencio Checa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Jaume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Jaume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Naldo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Gabriel Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Naldo made a kick off. The supporters of progreso booed when AID was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. András Murai didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AID's Fernando Naldo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. AID's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Maore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. András Murai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AID getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Agustin Maore hit a great ball. If Fernando Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. progreso's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
