Agustin Tomi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 37 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Salvatore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Daan Beuk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Saturnino Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mariano Fertus made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, 邓景超 made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nueva Chicago's Agustin Tomi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saturnino Valente took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustin Tomi. Agustin Tomi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 65 minutes into the game, Ismael Ixidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agustin Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Valente in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Valente in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Tomi saved Nueva Chicago from getting behind. Ismael Ixidor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Agustin Tomi. Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Los chicos de cortina's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
