In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's goalkeeper Celestino Mannuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celestino Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuncer Ereken in the 12th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Cuervos de Boedo's Nicasio Gau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celestino Mannuel. Celestino Mannuel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 24th minute, Nicasio Gau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celestino Mannuel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Cuervos de Boedo's Roland Zondervan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Orlan in the 32nd minute of play. After 36 minutes, Adan Bilintx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC and the Cuervos de Boedo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adan Bilintx kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. During the 37th minute of the match Adan Bilintx completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adan Bilintx a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Cuervos de Boedo booed when VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Osoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Cordairo got free with Celestino Mannuel in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Aurken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, VIVA¡¡¡¡ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Aurken came free, but Celestino Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cuervos de Boedo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Aurken in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Mannuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adan Orlandus hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Celestino Mannuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. There was no doubt that Cuervos de Boedo were the better team. Cuervos de Boedo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
